The EWGA South Region Seniors Championships were held at Hendon Golf Club on the 11th and 12th August 2011
Forty competitors took part over the two day tournament. Low scoring was difficult on the first day due to heavy rain downpours but our own Jane Rees of Hendon finished the day sharing second place 6 shots behind the leading player Roz Adams of Addington Court Ladies Golf Club.
Jane had a magnificent round of 69 on the second day and missed winning the overall Scratch Prize by one shot to the eventual winner Roz Adams with her two rounds of 72, 74.
Jane won the overall net prize with 142 over the two days with Monica Morrow, Ealing Golf Club winning the best net prize on the first day with a 72 and Anne Koychev also of Ealing Golf Club winning the second days best net with a 69.
