Having completed an analysis last time, we had a confident idea about the skills we would focus on for this session.
Richard took half the group to examine the greenside sand shot, and was able to answer a variety of additional questions on this topic. I focused on the 20 yard chip from light rough – a skill which produced lower scores than expected last time.

With better weather than expected we were able to cover all the main points without rain delays. Everyone in attendance had a chance to try the main points for themselves, in some cases developing some new ideas quickly with improved results! It often takes time to settle on new ideas but where we were able to reconcile any questions and offer some personal fine tuning, the improvement process was accelerated somewhat.
